1. What We Do

AutoBase Financial provides vehicle financing support and helps match applicants with financing options offered by third-party lenders and dealer partners. AutoBase is not a bank, and any loan approval, rate, term, and funding decision is made solely by the lender.

2. No Guarantee of Approval

Submitting a pre-approval request on this Site does not guarantee approval, a specific rate, term, payment, or vehicle. All financing is on approved credit ("OAC") and subject to lender review, income and employment verification, vehicle selection, and applicable lending requirements. Pre-approval and final approval are different steps.

3. Estimates and Calculator

The payment calculator and credit profile estimator on this Site provide estimates only, for illustration. They include Ontario HST (13%) where shown but do not include all possible fees, insurance, licensing, or lender charges. Actual rates, payments, and cost of borrowing will be disclosed by the lender in your loan agreement before you sign.

4. Applications and Credit Checks

When you request pre-approval, you consent to us contacting you about your request. A full credit application, including consent for us and/or our lender partners to obtain your credit report, will be provided separately for your review and signature (including via DocuSign) before any credit check is completed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to provide accurate information, use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or misuse the Site or its forms.

6. Third-Party Links and Partners

The Site may reference or link to third-party lenders, dealers, and service providers. We are not responsible for their products, terms, or privacy practices.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (text, logos, graphics) belongs to AutoBase Financial or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. No Financial Advice

Information on this Site is general information only and is not financial, legal, or tax advice. Speak with a qualified professional about your specific situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Ontario law, AutoBase is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this Site or reliance on its estimates. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
