4. Credit Checks and Consent

The short "Get pre-approved" form on this Site is not a signed credit application and does not authorize a credit check. It authorizes us to contact you about your request. Before any credit report is obtained, we will provide a full credit application for your review and signature naming who may obtain and share your credit information. You may withdraw that consent before submission, subject to legal or contractual limits.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with lenders and dealer partners (after your signed consent, to assess your application), service providers who process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, credit reporting agencies as authorized by your signed application, and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law or to prevent fraud. Lenders and partners handle your information under their own privacy policies once shared.

6. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

This Site is hosted on the Base44 platform, which may log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security, performance, and hosting purposes. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this Site. If that changes, we will update this section to name each tool, what it collects, and link to its policy before it goes live.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site.

7. Marketing Communications and CASL

Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) applies to our emails, texts, and other commercial electronic messages. Submitting the pre-approval form consents to us contacting you about that request. We will only send you separate marketing messages (promotions, tips, trade-in offers) where you have given express consent via the optional marketing checkbox on our form. Every marketing message will identify us, include our contact information, and provide a clear unsubscribe mechanism.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw your consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice), and ask questions or make a complaint about how we handle your information.
